The domain
The grape varieties present at Château Du Tertre, 5th Grand Cru Classé du Médoc, are 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The 50 hectares of Château du Tertre are located on one of the highest gravel ridges in the Margaux appellation. Since its purchase at the end of 1997 by Eric Albada Jelgersma, considerable investments have been made, thus enhancing this exceptional terroir of rare homogeneity.
