Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes - Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue 2014
The domain
Created in 1766, the Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé is one of the oldest properties in Burgundy. The family that owns the estate today already owned it before the Revolution. It was then passed down from generation to generation while perpetuating the know-how and family passion. Count Georges de Vogüé directed it with determination from 1925 until his death in 1987. Since then, his daughter, Elisabeth, Baroness de Ladoucette, has taken over the property, helped by her granddaughters. They have surrounded themselves with an exceptional team to enable constant progress in quality. Today, Eric Bourgogne head of cultivation, Jean-Luc Pépin sales manager and François Millet cellar manager. It is therefore together that they produce wines with passion.
