The domain

Born in 1981, graduate in oenology, Luca Rogna, fifth generation of the family, vinified his first vintage in 2001 following his father Alfredo on this exceptional estate, whose vines are divided between Barolo and Barbaresco. Its wines of phenomenal finesse are among the most traditional in the region, with long submerged cap macerations (sometimes up to 100 days) and very long aging on small exceptional cuvées. Polyglot, talkative and endowed with a strong sense of humor, Luca Roagna is one of the most endearing winegrowers we know. His insatiable curiosity, his phenomenal energy very quickly led this young winemaker to the heights of the quality of Piedmontese wines. Its recognition is now global, and its highly prized wines are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire.
