Arbois Pupillin Poulsard Wax Red - Pierre Overnoy 2018
The domain
The "mythical" Pierre Overnoy took over the family estate in 1968. The estate Pierre Overnoy is established in the small village of Pupillin located 3 km south of Arbois in the Jura, and Pierre Overnoy has particularly distinguished himself by vinifying his wines without adding sulfur from 1984, to the point of becoming an icon of " natural wine".
It was the physicist Jules Chauvet, a talented taster and father of the natural wine movement, who inspired him with his sharp approach and introduced him to winemaking practices to which he has remained faithful.

Tasting: extreme delicacy, its fruity and completely preserved. Its nose delivers a perfectly preserved fruitiness (cherry in particular), accompanied by floral notes (rose, peony) and the mouth brings suppleness thanks to very discreet tannins, great finesse. |
